Snap On Smile - An Excellent Alternative

Snap On Smile - An Excellent Alternative

We received this question, concerning the Snap on Smile procedure.

What does the snap on smile procedure cost and what is involved?

The Snap on Smile procedure involves using the existing teeth, and create a customized resin prostatheic model based on this.

This model actually snaps onto the posterior back teeth that are used as anchors. The result is no damage/irreversible changes are made to existing teeth as oppose to with dentures.

Prices vary, but the average price/cost of a Snap on Smile solution ranges from about 1200 to 1800 USD.

the Dentist

Check indianna
by: Anonymous

You can get snap on smile teeth in Indianna much cheaper than anywhere else, they are about 500.00 per arch, these are the same teeth that are used for children's beauty pageants,

I hate this product
by: Anonymous

I got the snap on smile because I have a few teeth missing. It is not comfortable and has tore up my gums and put pressure on my existing teeth, my teeth look huge and horse like. It is thick and although they say you can eat with them on, I cant! They are not sharp or thin enough to bite into anything. Big Bulky and I am so very upset that I paid for these. Celebrity smile? All I wanted was to not smile toothless. I tried very hard to like these, I really did but I look like I have the teeth of Jim Carey in the movie "Mask" Guess I got my celebrity smile after all.

Snap On Smile - Caveat Emptor
by: Tony D. New Jersey

snap on smile is totally dysfunctional. After wearing an upper and lower for four days the discomfort was unbearable. Sore teeth and gums, impaired speech and they looked like horse teeth. Eating food felt like chewing on a plastic straw. The company, DEN MAT, would only agree to make a new set stating that the original ones were probably not made right. If you are considering ordering this product, I suggest you get an unconditional guarantee from your dentist, there is no refund or other options.

snap-ons
by: Anonymous

How about snap-ons over a bridge that covers some teeth and fills in others, with missing teeth at back. Can it snap on to look like a real set of teeth full across the mouth?

To the woman below about to lose her teeth
by: Anonymous

I hope I caught you before the attack. My advice would be to avoid this man at all costs. Failing that, then snap on teeth would probably be an option for you assuming he knocks out the front two teeth and not any of the molars. Even then you might still be a candidate, but I would really try the avoidance route first.

I have several of my top teeth missing. The only top teeth I have left are on the left side of my mouth. What would I need to do for snap on smile to be a viable option?

Cost

$1200 is not an unreasonable cost when you consider that the lab charges $500 per arch to make.

greedy bastards
by: Anonymous

Why the heck would I pay 1200 bucks for something that may break down in 2yrs?
That's a stupid thing to do. They could sell these things a lot cheaper and still make a good buck. 500 a pair would be more than a fair price for these things and it would help the poor people out. But nobody gives a chit about the poor, they are all a bunch of greedy bastards. Anonamous

Missing all but 6
by: Anonymous

Hello,
I was interested in this purchase, but the guy I spoke to from the commercial hot line, asked me about going to an initial visit to see if I'm a "good candidate" for Snap-on-smile.
I have all 6 front teeth after that I have 2 gaps on both sides of my mouth, there would be nothing to hook them too right?
What if I had 2 implants put back there? Would that hold the snap-on-smile on? I need to find a job, and my mouth is a really big issue for me. Can you help? Thanks, L

Missing teeth
by: Anonymous

I have a question regarding the snap on smile product. I am most like going to be missing my two front teeth due to an attack by my ex husband - can this be used if you are missing teeth?
